Transparencies

This unique and original technique is the result of extensive research of diverse supports and materials, their features and adherence to different inks and enamels, with the aim of transforming and making the painting process transparent, enabling what is commonly hidden, whether in the wall, the frame or the artwork itself, to become visible to the viewer and therefore an integral part of the work.

The use of transparent and flexible supports, such as  polyethylene, among others, make it possible to paint the artworks from both sides, not only the front, and on occasions only the back,  which implies a greater complexity since you cannot see the result while you are working.

The main goal of my work is to express the need to rescue the values ​​of transparency, naturalness and honesty in current life, with the intention of generating the space for our being to clearly manifest itself without the requirement of masks or unrealistic expectations.
